A Team that Works for You
Founded in 2009, Kaizen is a Women-Owned construction firm led by Erin Faulkner, a seasoned professional with over 30 years of industry experience. Erin holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Northwestern University and has managed projects ranging from $300,000 to $300 million.
In 2013, Erin relocated to San Luis Obispo County to develop the family-owned vineyard. While lecturing at Cal Poly, she transitioned her focus from mega-projects like Westfield malls, ports, and airports to her true passion—residential and developer projects.
Erin is supported by her father, Bill Faulkner, a master builder with over 50 years of experience as a general contractor and project manager. Bill’s expertise spans local residential projects to landmark developments, including the World Trade Center. Together, they bring a legacy of craftsmanship, innovation, and dedication to every project Kaizen undertakes.
